Caracas, Venezuela, 1978.
Sanseviero has always had a passion for geometry and colour. He has participated in more than 50 group exhibitions and around 10 solo exhibitions, being the winner of more than 5 art awards, including the Faber Castell Award in 2000 and 2006. He is characterised by making sculptures with steel plates and automotive paint that are three-dimensional at first sight and then realise that they are completely flat. The art of colour is part of the game that the artist plays with the viewer's perception of dimension and depth.
