From 1988 on, he will definitively abandon the collage to dedicate himself exclusively to the wooden reliefs, made from old wood from scrap yards and waste. Next to the relief appears the shadow that originates and, next to it, the oil.
The works in relief that he has been doing in recent years are beginning to experience some fatigue so that a new stage begins in which the volume is, in a way, marginalized. Starting in 2004, he began a series of experimental works on almost flat surfaces with a clear intention of synthesis and use of new materials
