The painter and sculptor Olga Copado was born in Madrid in 1972, in a family of the steel industry.

Sculptor of artistic-pictorial formation, her abstractism is inspired by the elements of nature. Play with curved shapes, subjecting the work to natural and forced folds. It combines steel and empty volumes in space, creating an effect of lightness in its pieces.

His method of work to shape the metal is to heat it to 1,300 degrees so that the material is malleable and subsequently works the forms with the technique of forging. The wood is presented in the rough, as the basis of the piece and without possible treatment so that the naturalness of its textures contrast with the steel.

When asked how to approach her sculptures she always responds that each of her pieces, in addition to observing them, it is necessary to touch them and find the ideal angle of perspective for each person. She defines it as "the captivating angle that manages to tune into the viewer."

For several years he has focused his work on sculpture, since it is in this discipline that he feels more free to transmit perceptions and sensations, as a result of combining lights, shapes and space.
