Daniel Sueiras

Daniel Sueiras manages to create his own universe by exploring, through the pictorial and sculptural portrait, the human and animal behavior within its habitat, with characters that direct their suggestive gaze towards the spectator. His works are framed stylistically in realism and waste irony, tenderness and everydayness, with multiple references to classical art.
Sueiras began his professional career in the United States and has a solid track record that includes certain awards such as the honorable mention in the Antonio López García Painting Competition and the first prize in the National Painting Contest of the University of Seville. . He has exhibited in prominent international spaces such as the Embassy of Spain in Washington DC and his career includes his participation in numerous international fairs such as AAF New York and Scope New York (USA), Glasgow Contemporary Art Fair, AAF Edimburgh, AAF Bristol and AAF London (United Kingdom), Art Taipei (Taiwan), Bloom Art Fair (Germany), Scope Basel (Switzerland), Doors Art Fair (Korea), Art Madrid and Art Fair Málaga (Spain) among others.
