Luis Vioque

Madrid, Spain, 1966.

Since the beginning of her photography, Vioque has used the landscape for her work in a style that borders on minimalism. The small characters that appear in her photographs give a great dimension to the space represented, regardless of the size of the copy. The insistent search for timeless images and a constant play with the line of the horizon are the arguments she uses to express herself.

Intimate panorama. If I had to define Luis Vioque's style I would undoubtedly use that expression: intimate panoramic. Two apparently opposite words, which come together and fill with meaning in each of his photographs.

In 1989 he began to be interested in photography since then he completed his training in a self-taught way.

Among his latest individual exhibitions include:

Landscape silhouettes, Marita Segovia Gallery. (Madrid).

Panoramic Madrid. Cows House. (Madrid).
